Wicked Fun

I'm not living in London, yet.
However, thanks to my previous job working in a pizzeria, my Mum and I were able to take a (freaking amazing) trip there this past spring in May.
Suffice it to say, it only whet my impatience for going back.
I'll probably post a lot about that trip as I find the fuzzy photos on my iPod, but for now I'll leave you with this one that I snapped in Piccadilly Circus:

Yes, we actually went to see the play. Not that I'm a die-hard fan of the theatre, but there was no bloody way I was passing up seeing a play in London. For us it was a toss-up between Wicked and The Phantom of the Opera, but we went with "the West End phenomenon" because neither my Mum nor I had seen any version of it (and I own The Phantom of the Opera movie). I think we made a good choice, because it was pretty dang awesome. Even though we were sweet-talked, like the gullible tourists we were, into getting seats near the back. (Shut up, the lady was really convincing, alright?)
Definitely one of the highlights of the trip. I'd have to say, though, that it was another tourist magnet that took the cake for me, being the nerd I am...

An Awaited Return

Wow. It has been so many years since I've posted on a blog that even this small post is bringing back intense nostalgia of multi-person story writing about gnomes and cyborgs, and serious LoTR discussions. Yet, after all these years, I find my mind spinning familiarly like feet on a rusted bike. Maybe I'll be just too busy to start up a blog again, but just maybe, I can begin again, this time penning my journey to my once-visited dreamland and ultimate domicile.
